Project

In preparation for the highly anticipated launch of Amelia Social Lounge, the sophisticated cocktail bar, the client enlisted the expertise of Embark Marketing for guidance. They sought assistance across various marketing domains, including website design, social media marketing, public relations, and influencer marketing.

For the purpose of this case study, we are only going to cover the grand opening campaign.

Grand Opening Campaign

Throughout Amelia’s Grand Opening Week, which extended from February 15th to February 17th, guests enjoyed a range of daily specials, intensifying excitement for the distinct offer of each day. More details below to uncover the promotions showcased during the grand opening week:

Thursday-Saturday: Live Entertainment, Cocktail Hour Specials from 4pm-7pm & Half off Wine by The Glass ALL NIGHT.

When crafting a social media marketing plan, Embark Marketing collaborated closely with Amelia’s in-house content creator to craft high-quality content. This partnership enabled the agency to seamlessly execute a cohesive and engaging strategy.

Embark Marketing executed a targeted public relations campaign to boost visibility and generate buzz for Amelia. The result was securing media attention from Culture Map, MySA, a news segment on GreatDaySA and several other local outlets.

SA Foodie Social Media Paid Influencer Partnership:

Apart from conventional media avenues, Embark Marketing engaged with SA Foodie, San Antonio’s leading food influencer, overseen by Amanda Spencer. With an impressive following exceeding 465k and a proven history of producing top-notch content, Amanda was a perfect ally. Acknowledging the harmony between Amelia’s aesthetic charm and culinary philosophy, we discerned substantial potential in collaborating with SA Foodie to amplify brand visibility and augment social media interaction.

Grand Opening: In the beginning of February, Amelia conducted a soft opening to familiarize its staff with operations ahead of the official grand opening. On February 14th, SA Foodie posted a reel showcasing Amelia on her Instagram, presenting a giveaway for a $100 gift card. The giveaway extended from February 14th to February 21st.

SA Foodie Results

Between February 14th and February 15th, there was a surge of 1,297 new followers within a single day, which coinsided with SA Foodie’s post. Over the period from February 13th to February 20th, the follower count expanded to 3,369. The provided chart visually depicts the progression of the Instagram account’s growth.

Final Results

From February 7th to February 29th, the follower count increased to 4,903 as efforts were made to enhance their social media presence. This chart illustrates the growth of the Instagram account.
